The UCLA Bruins women's basketball program was established in 1974. The current coach is Cori Close. The team was a member of the Association for Intercollegiate Athletics for Women (AIAW) until joining the NCAA in 1984. The UCLA Bruins women's basketball team won the AIAW National Championship in 1978, and a banner commemorating the championship hangs in Pauley Pavilion, the current home of the Bruins basketball teams. The 2014–15 team won the 2015 WNIT championship.
UCLA Kobiety, amerykańska drużyna koszykarska, to zespół uczelniany reprezentujący Uniwersytet Kalifornijski w Los Angeles w National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division I. Drużyna jest członkiem Pac-12 Conference. UCLA Kobiety są jedną z najbardziej utytułowanych drużyn koszykarskich kobiet w historii NCAA, zdobywając 11 tytułów mistrzowskich NCAA, co plasuje je na drugim miejscu w klasyfikacji wszech czasów. Drużyna plasowała się także 15 razy w Final Four i miała 21 sezonów poniżej 20 przegranych. Obecnym trenerem zespołu jest Cori Close. Drużyna rozgrywa swoje mecze domowe w Pauley Pavilion.
