Naft Maysan SC (also known as Naft Missan) (Arabic: نادي نفط ميسان, lit. 'Maysan's Oil') is an Iraqi professional football club based in Amarah, Maysan that competes in the Iraq Stars League, the top flight of football in Iraq.
History
Naft Maysan Sports Club was founded in 2003 by the Ministry of Oil. In 2009–10 season, the club was playing in the Iraqi Premier League until it relegated to Iraq Division One in the 2011 season. But the team returned to play in the Iraqi Premier League after winning the runner-up in the 2012–13 Iraq Division One where it remains.
Naft Maysan, założony w 1982 roku jest jednym z irackich klubów piłkarskich, z siedzibą w Al-Amarah. Klub został założony pod nazwą Al-Difaa, a następnie zmieniono ją na Al-Musharaka. Pod tą nazwą zespół rozegrał sezon 2000/2001 w irackiej pierwszej lidze. Następnie został przemianowany na Naft Maysan FC. Klub gra na stadionie Maysan Olympic Stadium o pojemności 25 000 miejsc. Obecnie gra w irackiej pierwszej lidze. Największym osiągnięciem Naft Maysan jest zdobycie Pucharu Iraku w 1988 roku.
