Paro FC is a Bhutanese professional football club based in Paro that competes in the Bhutan Premier League, the top level of Bhutanese football.

History

Paro FC competed in the 2018 Bhutan National League after beating Paro United in the qualifying tournament, and finished the season as the runners-up behind Transport United. In 2019, Paro FC reached the semi-finals of the first-ever Samtse Championship. During the same season, Paro FC won its first national league title by winning the 2019 edition of the Bhutan Premier League.

Paro Football Club to klub piłkarski z siedzibą w Paro w Bhutanie. Klub został założony w 2000 roku i obecnie gra w Lidze Narodowej Bhutanu, najwyższym poziomie butanskiego futbolu. Domowym stadionem Paro FC jest Stadion Narodowy Changlimithang w Thimphu.

Paro FC zdobyło 3 mistrzostwa Bhutanu w latach 2001, 2003 i 2010. Klub zdobył także 5 pucharów Bhutanu w latach 2004, 2006, 2008, 2010 i 2013.

Na arenie międzynarodowej Paro FC reprezentowało Bhutan w Pucharze Prezydenta AFC, azjatyckich klubowych rozgrywkach dla mistrzów krajowych z tzw. rozwijających się krajów. Najlepszym wynikiem klubu było zajęcie 3. miejsca w edycji 2013.

Paro FC jest jednym z najbardziej utytułowanych klubów w Bhutanie i cieszy się dużym poparciem kibiców. Klub jest znany ze swojego ofensywnego stylu gry i zdolności do zdobywania bramek.
