Universities AFC jest nowozelandzkim klubem piłkarskim z siedzibą w Christchurch. Został założony w 1984 roku i występuje w lidze Northern League, która jest trzecią ligą w Nowej Zelandii. Klub zrzesza studentów i absolwentów Uniwersytetu Canterbury i innych uniwersytetów w Christchurch.

Universities AFC odniósł kilka sukcesów na poziomie lokalnym i regionalnym. W 1999 roku klub zdobył Northern League Division 1, a w 2000 roku wygrał Chatham Cup, czyli krajowe rozgrywki pucharowe Nowej Zelandii. W 2001 roku klub dotarł do finału Chatham Cup, ale przegrał z Miramar Rangers.

Universities AFC jest znany z produkcji talentów piłkarskich. Kilku byłych graczy klubu reprezentowało Nową Zelandię na poziomie międzynarodowym, w tym Ryan Nelsen, Winston Reid i Tommy Smith. Klub ma również silną kulturę klubową i jest zaangażowany w rozwój społeczności lokalnej.
