Sulaymani Peshmarga Sport Club (Kurdish: یانهی وهرزشی پێشمهرگهی سلێمانی) is a sports club based in Sulaymaniyah, Iraqi Kurdistan. They currently play in the Iraqi Premier Division League, and also field a team in the Kurdistan Premier League. The club was founded in 1999.
History
Division One champions
Peshmarga team played in the Iraq Division One season 2009–10, and managed to top its group and be promoted to play in the Premier League. The top team in each group played in the final match to determine the league champion, where Peshmarga and Al-Jaish met at Al-Karkh Stadium in Baghdad, and Peshmarga was able to defeat Al-Jaish with a score (3–0) and win the championship.

Peshmarga team played in the Premier League for the first time in the 2010–11 season, and played in the Northern Group, and the team was not good enough, and despite the change of coach, the team continued to lose its matches, and eventually relegated to the Iraq Division One.
Klub został założony w 1955 roku. W 1974 roku po raz pierwszy w historii awansował do irackiej pierwszej ligi. W latach 1982–1985 trzykrotnie z rzędu zdobył mistrzostwo kraju, a w 1986 roku dotarł do finału Pucharu Azji. W 1990 roku klub został rozwiązany z powodu wojny w Zatoce Perskiej. Reaktywowano go w 2003 roku.
Peshmerga Sulaymaniya rozgrywa swoje mecze domowe na stadionie Franso Hariri w Sulaymanii. Stadion może pomieścić 20 000 widzów.
Największym sukcesem klubu jest zdobycie mistrzostwa Iraku w latach 1982, 1983, 1984 i 1985. Klub dwukrotnie zdobył Puchar Iraku, w latach 1983 i 1986.
Peshmerga Sulaymaniya jest jednym z najbardziej utytułowanych klubów w Iraku. Klub ma duże grono kibiców, a jego mecze domowe cieszą się dużym zainteresowaniem.
